Terms and Conditions for the "You could save up to €344/307* per year" price claim advertisement for PHC

What these terms cover. These are the terms and conditions ("T&Cs") on which we are making, and you may benefit from, the "You could save up €344/307* per year" price claim (the "Price Claim") for a Dog Plan (saving up to €344), or Cat Plan (saving up to €307).

The Price Claim is subject to these T&Cs and any information provided you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these T&Cs. If you do not agree to these T&Cs, you must not participate in the Price Claim.

Terms and Conditions.

1. These T&Cs apply to the Price Claim. Saving applies both online and in clinic.

2. Saving applies to a Pet Health Club ("PHC") plan for a dog or a cat (each a "Plan").

4. Current monthly price for a PHC Plus dog plan is €35.60. Current monthly price for a PHC Plus cat plan is €32.60. Prices are correct as of 05.12.2024

Current monthly price for a PHC Essentials dog plan is €25.62. Current monthly price for a PHC Essentials cat plan is €22.62. Prices are correct as of 05.12.2024

5. Price Claim is based on an annualised saving for customers on a PHC Plus plan who have taken up the full core benefits, including full course of vaccinations for the Plan, compared against the average total cost of equivalent items for customers not on a Plan, as calculated across 13 out of 19 (i.e. 68%) of participating PHC clinics, as compared against the annualised average cost of non-subscription pricing across 13 PHC clinics.

6. Current annualised saving for a PHC Plus Dog Plan is up to €344 per plan, based on this Price Claim. Current annualised saving for a PHC Plus Cat Plan is €307 per plan, based on this Price Claim. All annualised savings are correct as of 05.12.2024

7. "Annualised saving" means a saving calculated for 1 full calendar year of an applicable Plan from the date of sign-up to an applicable Plan. Cancellation of Plan may prevent full uptake of benefits.

8. Breakdown of individual cost of items versus core benefits included in a Plan as follows:

*based on 3 consultations per year (average price of vet consultation €58.42, calculated across all participating practices offering PHC Plus), in addition to full uptake of core benefits, including full course of vaccinations of cat or dog plan. Annualised savings calculated across all participating PHC practices calculated on 05.12.2024. Savings will vary per species per year based on vaccination status.

9. Price Claim is based on an average calculated across 68% of PHC clinics. The average cost price per item shown above is calculated as the average cost across 13 PHC clinics.

10. Data taken on 05.12.2024 by Independent Vetcare Ireland Limited via its Practice Management System collected from each participating clinic. "Average" calculated by taking the total cost of an item per participating PHC clinic and adding those together to give a total cost for that item across all participating clinics then dividing by the number of participating PHC clinics to reach average figure across the participating clinics.

11. Available saving will vary between clinics. Participating PHC clinics only in Ireland.

12. Full uptake of core benefits is required, including full vaccination course. The core benefits for each Plan are as follows:

13. Price Claim saving varies depending on species. Saving will also vary based on vaccination status.

14. Prices and core benefits of the Plan may be subject to change upon notice.
